This document forms a part of the Agreement, as defined in the Terms of Use posted to this Site. Any terms used but not defined herein shall have the meaning set forth in the Terms of Use.
Cannabis Scientific (the “Company”) offers the following services to help you streamline the purchasing process and provide after-sale support.
24-Hour Turnaround
The Company ships over 98% of domestic orders for in-stock items the same day we receive them or the very next day. We're extremely proud of this record! Our exclusive order entry system, EDI, and internet site allow us to process orders quickly. On request, we will make every effort to send your shipment by overnight delivery.
Competitive Prices & Quotations
You'll find our prices are competitive whether you are purchasing one item or thousands. Be sure to check with the Company first whenever you are pricing a large multi-item order or an order of a single item you need in a large quantity. We also invite you to let us quote on your annual purchasing requirements as your prime supplier of laboratory products. If you cannot find an item on our Site or in our catalog, please contact our Customer Service Department at – contact@cannabissci.com for assistance. Prices shown on the Site, including normal quantity discounts, are updated on a regular basis and are subject to change without notice. Prices charged will be those in effect at the time of order acceptance, unless special terms or quotations have been provided.
Standing Orders
You can place a standing order with us for any item or items with specific delivery schedules in the quantities you will require. We will automatically deliver these items as specified in your standing order, provided that an acceptable method of payment can be used to process the shipment. This method of purchasing assures you of timely shipments of your needed items without the necessity of remembering to place repetitive orders. Furthermore, quantity discounts based on the value of the entire order may be available. Your standing order can always be modified.
Payment Terms
After credit responsibility has been established with us, terms are net 30 days for customers in the U.S. and Canada. Payment by customers in other countries may be made through a US dollar draft drawn to the order of Cannabis Scientific, or confirmed irrevocable letter of credit on a US bank, preferably in the Philadelphia area. Other terms may be arranged after credit responsibility has been established. Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT) are also available. VISA, MasterCard and American Express are accepted.
Pricing & Specifications
Prices on our Site are updated on a regular basis and are subject to change without notice. Manufacturer specifications for products or certain models may change or be discontinued without notice. In the event of product unavailability, the Company will attempt to recommend a suitable alternative.
Freight Charges
Freight Charges for orders placed using our e-catalog will be calculated and charged based upon the total order size and the shipping address provided. The freight charge for the entire order will be included on the invoice for the initial shipment. Any subsequent shipments of backordered items will not include freight charges. In the event that carton size or product mix result in excessively high (in our discretion) or unanticipated freight charges we reserve the right to contact customer regarding new freight charges prior to order shipment. In such circumstances customer may accept the re-calculated freight charge or cancel the order. Unless otherwise noted all shipments are FOB Origin.
Shipment Claims
Please inspect all shipments upon receipt. If external damage is evident, accept the shipment only after the carrier's driver has noted the damage on all copies of the delivery receipt. Immediately request that the carrier make an inspection and contact our Customer Service Department at – contact@cannabissci.com. If upon opening a shipment you discover concealed damage, please request a carrier inspection within 15 days of delivery and then contact our Customer Service Department.
Returns
All returns must have prior authorization from Cannabis Scientific and must be requested within 30 days of purchase. Products returned without prior authorization will be returned freight collect. All products returned are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee. Customer will be responsible for all transportation fees on returns not due to Cannabis Scientific error.
Products generally not subject to return include:
- Items not purchased from Cannabis Scientific.
- Products not in original packaging, including products with damaged, missing or defaced labeling and packaging. All original manuals, instructions, warnings and warranties must be included. Products must not have been customized, modified or damaged in any way.
- Items purchased on a “special order” basis.
- Discontinued products.
- Chemicals, diagnostics, sterile or controlled products.
- Products which are not inventoried by Cannabis Scientific and are not able to be returned to the manufacturer.
- Products with an expired shelf life or short expiration dating.
- Refrigerated products or other perishables.
Privacy Statement
The Company bases its business on the trust you place in us. The information we collect is gathered through means designed to be secure and to provide a more personalized shopping experience. We collect, use and share your personal information pursuant to the terms our Privacy Policy.
Warranties
The Company carries products from a variety of distinguished manufacturers. The manufacturers of products carried by us have been chosen on the basis of the Company's belief that their products meet the Company's rigorous specifications and standards. Statements made in our catalog and on this Site regarding these product specifications, standards, manufacturer warranties and suitability for a particular use are made to the best knowledge of the manufacturers, and the terms of such warranties will be made available to the purchaser without recourse against the Company. You understand and agree that the Company has not verified, nor does it have an obligation to verify, any information provided by the manufacturers, nor confirmed whether the products meet the specifications of the products they apply to.
Manufacturer specifications and product availability are subject to change; therefore, delivered products may sometimes vary from those depicted on the Site.
WARNING - The products listed for sale on this Site and in our catalog are listed for sale primarily to commercial, industrial, medical and educational institutions, for use by professionals or under the supervision of professionals. Where the manufacturer has provided instructions as to the use of a product, it is the user’s responsibility to ensure that those instructions are followed to ensure safe use. Certain items may be dangerous unless used by trained technical personnel under supervision. The Company reserves the right to restrict sale of product, but undertakes no obligation or responsibility with respect to the products sold hereunder. Use of the products sold on this Site is at the users’ sole risk.
THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, GUARANTEES OR REPRESENTATIONS, WHETHER ORAL, WRITTEN OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR USE OR PURPOSE.
EXCEPT FOR REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF THE NET PRICE, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OCCURRING AS A CONSEQUENCE OF THE FAILURE OF ANY PRODUCT SOLD BY THE COMPANY TO CONFORM TO THE WEIGHT, SPECIFICATIONS AND STANDARDS STATED ON THE PACKAGE.
NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES ARE MADE CONCERNING THE SUITABILITY OF ANY PRODUCT, REAGENT OR CHEMICAL FOR A PARTICULAR USE, AND THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OCCURRING AS A CONSEQUENCE OF THE FAILURE OF A PRODUCT, REAGENT OR CHEMICAL TO BE SUITABLE FOR A PARTICULAR USE.
The Company shall not be liable for any delay in performance under this warranty caused by any contingency beyond the Company's control, including war, government restrictions, strikes, acts of God or reduced supply of materials.
THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIN, OR ANY DAMAGE OR INJURY TO PLANT, PERSONNEL, EQUIPMENT OR PRODUCTS, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY RESULTING FROM THE USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRODUCT, REAGENT OR CHEMICAL SOLD BY THE COMPANY. Representations and warranties made by any person, including dealers and representatives of the Company, which are inconsistent with, in conflict with, or in excess of the terms of this warranty shall not be binding upon the Company.
EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE SPECIFICALLY STATED HEREIN, THE LIMITS ON LIABIILTY SET FORTH IN THE TERMS OF USE SHALL APPLY TO ALL PURCHASES MADE ON THE SITE.
